A few notes:
- The first Parking Lot service will be May 31st at 9:00 am. Please plan to arrive by 8:45.
- The service will be delivered via FM transmitter to all who are in the Parking Lot. Instructions will be provided in advance as well as via handout to all who attend.
- There will still be a Facebook sermon posted for those who are uncomfortable attending the parking lot service and those who may not be feeling well.
- The Parking Lot service will include music, liturgy, sermon, communion and offering.
- A greeter will stand by the parking lot entrance and provide handouts to each car which includes:
- Bulletin for the service
- Lyrics for the music
- Any special instructions for the service – FM station number, etc.
- Ushers will arrive early and park their cars in various sections within the parking lot.
- Ushers will wear masks and gloves and will be responsible for those sections.
- Handing out individual communion packages to each person in their section.
- Making available an offering bucket (one per section) for attendees.
- Helping anyone to the restroom in case of emergency.
- Answering questions on accessing FM station or other needs of attendees.
- Ushers will wear masks and gloves and will be responsible for those sections.
- Cars will be parked in every other space to provide opportunity for social distancing. If you wish to sit outside in your parking space, please bring a chair and a mask. Since we are in the Yellow Zone, we will still need to follow the six-foot rule for social distancing.
- Service will be held rain or shine.
- The church building will be closed. However, if there are urgent restroom needs, ushers will be available to open the doors.
